About Creative Community Development

Creative Community Development (CCD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2023 and dedicated to advancing equity, stability, and long term economic empowerment for underserved and historically marginalized populations.  Our leadership team brings more than 20 years of combined experience serving and supporting individuals within the human services sector. We provide permanent housing, SRO housing, and comprehensive supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability throughout Southern California, including individuals living on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA). Our mission is rooted in compassion, accessibility, and community empowerment as we work to eliminate barriers preventing individuals and families from achieving stability, self sufficiency, and an improved quality of life.

CCD provides permanent housing opportunities in single family residences and newly developed multi family communities ranging from 15 to 65 units, along with SRO and Community Care settings designed for individuals with higher support needs. We proudly serve individuals with disabilities, survivors of CSEC sex trafficking, aged out foster youth and transition age youth (TAY), LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, reentry and justice involved individuals, survivors of domestic violence, low income families, and individuals living with substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses. Through culturally responsive and person centered services, we strive to create safe, supportive, and inclusive environments where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.

Our integrated model combines stable housing with supportive health and social services including CalAIM Enhanced Care Management (ECM), Community Supports, and Community Health Worker (CHW) services. In addition to housing support, CCD provides access to mental health resources, workforce development, employment opportunities, financial literacy education, food security programs, wellness initiatives, and community outreach services. By addressing housing, health, behavioral health, and economic challenges together, we create sustainable pathways toward long term stability, independence, and community well being.
